Wine Serving Tips

Now that you have taken the time to learn how-to-taste wine, the regions and grapes of the world, reading a wine label and the essentials for buying wine, it’s time to drink it! 

For starters, make sure that your wine is being served at its absolute best. To do that, pay attention to these three tenets of wine service: Glassware, temperature and preservation.

Glassware:
Each wine has something unique to offer your senses. Most wine glasses are specifically shaped to accentuate those defining characteristics, directing wine to key areas of the tongue and nose, where they can be fully enjoyed. While wine can be savored in any glass, a glass designed for a specific wine type helps you to better experience its nuances. Outfit your house with a nice set of stems you will reap the rewards.

Temperature:
All wine is stored at the same temperature, regardless of its color. But reds and whites are consumed at quite different temperatures. Too often people drink white wines too cold and red wines too warm, limiting how much you can enjoy the wine. A white that’s too cold will be flavorless and a red that’s too warm is often flabby and alcoholic.

ــــ طريقة تقطيع البصل بدون دموع ــــ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ عندما تقومي بتقطيع البصل تطلق الاجزاء الداخلية للبصل إزنزيم يتفاعل داخل البصلة بدوره ليطلق غاز فيجتمع الغاز مع الماء ويطلق حمض ,وعينك تحتوي على الماء فيتفاعل الغاز اخل عينك مسبب نوبات البكاء ,ولكن كيف تجنب هذا التفاعل ؟ - إستخدمي سكين حاد جدا لتقطيع البصل فإستخدام شفرة حاده للتقطيع تقوم تتسبب فى افرازات إنزيمية اقل عوضاً عن سحق البصل او استخدام سكين غير حاد . - ضعي البصل قبل تقطيعه فى الفريزر لمدة 10 دقائق والا تتجاوز الـ 15 دقيقة فدرجة الحرارة المنخفضه جداً تجعل الانزيم الذي يطلق من البصل اثناء تقطيعه اقل . - قومي بتقطيع البصل فى اناء به ماء او فى ماء جاري فهي طريقة فعاله ولكنها صعبه ويصعب فيها التحكم بالبصل اثناء التقطيع ولكن اذا تم اتقانها ستصبح سهله . - تنفسي عن طريق الفم مع اخراج اللسان للخارج تتسبب هذه الحركة بسحب الغاز المتبقي الى اللسان وإبعاده عن اعصاب الشم . - لا تقفي اثناء تقطيع البصل امام تيار الهواء فهو يتسبب بتوجيه الغاز نحوك ولكن دامئا كوني مع تيار الهواء . - قومي بمضغ قطعة من الخبر ببطء شديد اثناء التقطيع فهي ستجنبك اى شعور بالدموع . - يمكن استخدام الملح او الخل بإضافته الى الماء اثناء التقطيع سمنع ذلك من وصول الغاز اليك . - يمكن اشعال شمعه بالقرب منك او تقطيع البصل بالقرب من مصدر حرار سيقلل ذلك من شعورك بالدموع .
